Yolanda Torrech
Hi, my name is Yolanda and I am a current graduate student at Northcentral University studying Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have experience with intensive treatment programs and am very excited to help others make long-lasting positive changes in their lives and relationships with themselves and others. I work with individuals, couples, children, and families that may be struggling with relationship issues, struggling with family dynamics, substance use, trauma, anxiety, or depression.
Trauma can manifest in many ways; the body remembers what the mind forgets.
My goal is to be supportive and provide a safe environment to explore those past and present experiences and connect the mind and body. I am here to assist you in developing your coping skills and reconnecting emotionally with loved ones, among other techniques. I am compassionate and nonjudgmental and understand the importance of creating a safe environment to be seen and heard.
Apart from my passion and drive to help others, I understand the importance of self-care and what I enjoy doing that gives me peace is reading a good book and lying on the beach listening to the waves.
